Dear Esteemed Parents,

As we come to the end of another eventful term, we want to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for being an integral part of our school community. Despite the socio-economic challenges that many of us face, you have remained steadfast in your commitment to providing the best possible education for your children, and we are proud of you all.

We appreciate your unwavering support, not just financially, but also morally and physically. Your involvement in our school activities has been phenomenal, and we are grateful for your dedication. To those who managed to keep 100% punctuality, we salute you! For those who faced unforeseen circumstances, we encourage you to keep pushing, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

We also appreciate parents who have been prompt in paying their fees, and we encourage those who are yet to do so to please endeavour to settle their outstanding balances as soon as possible. Your timely support enables us to provide the best possible resources and facilities for our learners.

We are thrilled to highlight some of the achievements we've accomplished this term, thanks to your support:

1. *Inter-school competition*: Our learners showcased their talents and skills, making us proud!
2. *Inter-class competition*: Years One and Two put up a great show, demonstrating their academic prowess!
3. *Early Years Colour Day*: A vibrant display and expression of knowledge of colours and talents!
4. *Visit to Orphanage*: Thanks to parents who supported this noble cause! We had a warm visit to Diamond Orphanage 
5. *Jumpers Day*: A fun-filled day, thanks to your support! This memory will remain with our learners for a long time.
6. *Examination procedures*: We've enhanced our CBT system, providing a better learning experience for our learners!
7. *Teaching methodology*: We've refined our approach to provide top-notch education! This service level would be further enhanced in the coming term.
8. *United Nations Teachers Day*: We appreciate the support received from parents, making it a memorable celebration! We shall aggressively pursue the United Nations Day in the coming months.
9. *Academic Review Day*: A huge turnout, with over 98% attendance across all classes!

The management is delighted about your supports during the End-of-The-Year celebrations. It was memorable and exciting. Thank you all.

As we look ahead to the New Year 2026, we are excited to double our efforts and provide an excellent service to our learners in a robust school classroom environment. We shall create a newer learning experience in the months and years ahead.

TODDLER
LITERACY: Make a video of you sounding letter sound a-f with their corresponding pictures.
NUMERACY: Make a video of yourself founding numbers 1-15 using your toys.
K.U.W: Create a video showing different kinds of food.
PRE NURSERY
NUMERACY: Get 15 objects around you. Make a video while you count the objects.
LITERACY: Create a video while you sound a-m showing each letter sound.
K.U.W: Make a poster showing traffic light and its colour and show what each colour means.
NURSERY
NUMERACY: Find 29 objects around your home. Create a fun and engaging video while counting o next from 1-20 showing each object as you count.
LITERACY: Make a video where you sound alphabet a-z using objects or pictures to show each sound of the alphabet a-z
K.U.W: Create a family tree showing nuclear and extended family using your own family pictures.
RECEPTION
NUMERACY: Find 30 objects around your home. Create a fun and engaging video while skip counting objects in 2s.
LITERACY: Make a video where you read CVC story. Create a poster using the sight words in the story.
K.U.W: Create a poster showing pictures of local places around you.
YEAR1
ENGLISH STUDIES: Cut and paste pictures showing the four different types of noun.
MATHEMATICS: Write numbers backward from 1-100 with red and blue colour pen indicating odd number with red pen and even number with blue pen.
BASIC SCIENCE: With the use of pictures, explain the characteristics of living things.
YEAR 2
ENGLISH STUDIES: Create a poster about pronouns showing the different types with examples.
MATHEMATICS: Create a model on fraction using cardboard with different shapes indicating 3/4, 2/5, 3/8,1/4 and 4/6.
BASIC SCIENCE: Create a poster about plant showing the life cycle and all what it needs to grow.
YEAR 3
ENGLISH STUDIES:Write an essay on the importance of margins when writing in your notebook or typing on a computer.
MATHEMATICS:Write a short essay on fractions and it's importance .
SCIENCE:Identify one underdeveloped technology and one developed technology. Describe how it's works and how the developed one superceds the underdeveloped one indicating the year of invention.
YEAR 4
ENGLISH STUDIES: Write an essay about the  adventure you have with your rebellious shadow,where it takes you and what secret it wants to reveal.
MATHEMATICS: A chef is following recipe that calls for one and a half cups of sugar. His measuring cup is only marked in quarters. He accidentally measures out seven-fourth cups of sugar. What is half of one and a half cups? Reduce your final answer to to it's lowest terms. Should he use a mixed number or an improper fraction to measure it? Why?
SCIENCE: Make a research on the growth of a plant using the 3 types of soil and record your observations on each soil type.
YEAR 5
ENGLISH STUDIES: Research the eight parts of speech and write a detailed essay on their definition, examples, and importance in building a correct sentences.
MATHEMATICS: Write an essay explaining how mathematics is used in everyday life discussing five real life activities where people need maths.
SCIENCE: HOW NATURAL RESOURCES SHAPE GROWTH, TECHNOLOGY AND HISTORY OF A NATION. Use one country as a case study and research how its natural resources have influenced its scientific inventions,technological development, population growth,historical effects and social life.

Ruthwiphdale Schools is subdivided into Early Years Foundation Stages and the Elementary Schools for Graders. We are conscious of the expectations of most parents and the community thus we maintain high but achievable standards. The standards are achieved through duo of academics and extracurricular activities. Our focus is zoomed towards Reading, Speaking, Science Innovations and Number concept. Extracurricular activities help introduce fun way of learning through slotted clubs such as Chess, STEM, Red Cross, Literary and Debate, Ballet, Music, Cub Scout, Jet and Press Club.

As the vision bearer, it is key to let you know that our class managers are properly sourced beyond familiarity but quality educational background, all -round experience in the sector, dedication to work and conduct towards children. We are pleased to have you visit.
